The March Brown Western is a classic dry fly pattern designed to imitate the adult March Brown mayfly, a key spring hatch in Western rivers. With a mottled brown body, upright wings, and bushy hackle, it rides high and floats well even in fast water.
Its realistic profile and movement make it a reliable choice during early-season mayfly hatches when trout are actively rising. A must-have for Western trout streams, especially in the spring and early summer.
