The Pale Morning Dun (PMD) Quill Body Parachute is a highly effective dry fly that imitates the adult stage of the PMD mayfly. Its natural quill body gives the fly a realistic segmented appearance, while the parachute-style hackle allows it to sit low in the water, mimicking a freshly emerged dun.

Tied with a light-colored post for visibility and a soft, tan-yellow body to match the PMD hatch, this fly is perfect for technical dry fly situations. Ideal for late spring through early fall, especially on clear streams where trout are selective, the PMD Quill Parachute offers a natural look and clean presentation that trout can’t resist.
